Starting at the central market we'll buy all the cooking ingredients we'll need together (and bargain our way through it!). We'll then take a daladala (bus) to a Swahili Family House learn everything about Swahili cuisine. After cooking, we'll eat the meal you cooked and listen to Taraab music.
Baraka Aquarium

Join me on this healing journey to the Baraka sea turtle rehabilitation aquarium. The Baraka team rescues turtles who have attained wounds from attacks and boating incidents while in the ocean. The turtles are then transported to the aquarium to heal and eventually released back to their ocean homes. During the tour, you will learn all about sea turtles while in their natural habitat. You will get to swim with and feemd them on this amazing journey. After nurturing the turtles, we will head to Nungwi Beach for some sun and relaxation! While at the beach, we will dine at a locally owned restaurant and you will taste some of the best seafood and freshly squeezed juice on the Island!
Jozani Forest

Jozani is the main forest in Zanzibar, The thickly forested wetland is a home for Red colobus monkeys that are rarely found in other parts of the world. Other attractions we'll be exploring are mangrove swamps with salt marshes and a huge variety of tropical trees, reptiles, birds and butterflies.
